Overview: “All my life, I’ve wondered at how people fall into the routines of life. The paths we travel seemed to be well-trodden by society. We go to school, fall in love, find a line of work (and hope and pray it is one we like), have children and do our best to mold them into good people who will travel the same path. This is the path so commonly referred to as the “real world”.
The characters in my books are destined to stray down a different path other than the one society suggests. Each story leads the reader into a world altered slightly from the one they know. For me, this is what good fiction is about, an opportunity to escape from the daily grind and wander down someone else’s path.” -Lorie O’Clare
1) Elements Unbound:
Bruno Tangaree has a mission. With his guidance and strength, the Werewolves of Malta will know more glory than any pack on Earth. And he’s chosen his mate—the only woman who not only makes him burn with hunger, but who can match his special gift—to run by his side as he leads his kind. It’s time to run his little lady to ground.
Renee has fled from her sire, angry, hating the knowledge that he’d agree to a mating for the money and prestige it would bring his den. He has sold her like a piece of chattel, and she won’t stand for it.
When Bruno, the rogue werewolf no den would approve of, approaches her, she’s terrified and excited at the same time. Strong, determined, dark and sexy, he’s been the source of more fantasies than she can count. But now he knows her darkest secret, and seduces her so quickly she forgets the meaning of the word no.
Bruno shows her that by mastering the elements, developing and sharing their gifts will make them the strongest werewolves ever to walk this planet.
2) Living Extinct:
Many believe Malta werewolves can no longer be allowed to exist. Werewolves biochemically altered to make them stronger, faster and able to do things others can’t must be destroyed.
Moira Tangaree runs from Malta, fleeing with only her memories. As she moves from pack to pack, catching the criminals no other werewolf can apprehend, the emptiness inside her grows. She longs for a werewolf who will love her and a place to call home.
Years have passed since the destruction of the Malta werewolves and Dante Aldo has kept his word to Moira’s sire to give aid where he can. Now it’s time to collect his prize — Moira. She will be his mate, run by his side, honor and love him. Dante faces the biggest challenge of his life — convince Moira that she was meant to be his when she believes he’s responsible for destroying everything and everyone she’s ever loved. Her heart is closed and it might take all the seduction he can master to open her to him…and to the rebirth of the Werewolves of Malta.
3) Far From Innocent:
The Malta Werewolves have barely settled in the Colorado Rockies and already surrounding packs want them out. No one trusts Malta Werewolves, and to make matters worse, Malta Werewolves don’t trust each other. They truly will be extinct at this rate.
Tired of a life on the run, Erin Spalto is out of control. She is beautiful, tempting and absolutely not the right female for Juan Anthony. When she pushes her luck too far one day, Juan realizes that no matter her wild nature, he must protect her. However, protecting leads to having, and with each taste, Juan must have more.
Juan wants Erin, but being Dante Aldo’s half-brother is a major downfall when Erin’s den believes Dante responsible for the burning of their pack on Malta. Their dens’ feud comes to a head as the men struggle for dominance and power. As blood is drawn, the two lovers may have to fight harder than they thought possible for each other and for the survival of their pack.
4) For Life:
Maura’s mating isn’t a happy one, and when Pete learns that she’s trying to terminate it, he drives her out of lunewulf territory. Now she’s free. Memories of a sexy Malta werewolf lead her in the direction of their pack, although she doubts she’ll be able to find him. What Maura doesn’t realize is that she’s already been found.
Josie is blessed with the gift. Thanks to his abilities, he’s able to hear Maura’s thoughts and track her down. Josie can’t believe any werewolf would treat such a beautiful creature so badly. But when he learns of the despicable things her mate has done, there’s only one thing to do.
Josie won’t stop until Pete is dead. No matter that his actions will stir up even more tension between Malta werewolves and lunewulfs, Josie decides what he has to offer Maura will last for the rest of their lives. That is, if he lives through the ritual he must endure in order to have her.
5) Forbidden Attraction:
The Malta werewolf pack must endure the Rocky Mountain winter and the prejudice of surrounding packs before they can once again be strong and proud. Nicolo Spalto is willing to work through all obstacles to make his pack as great as they once were. If that means going to the aid of a lunewulf female, then he’ll do it. But when he meets Heidi Lutgard, simply rescuing her isn’t enough. In spite of the differences between their packs, he can’t deny his attraction to her.
Heidi knows the Malta werewolves are to be avoided at all cost. They are large, dark and very dangerous. However, it’s those very traits that have her longing to see the incredibly seductive male who came to her rescue even though her pack leader forbids it.
Forbidden by their packs to be together, their attraction grows from physical to something more powerful — something too mind-boggling to keep hidden. Now Heidi must face being shunned by her pack just to be with the werewolf she loves, fighting law and tradition with Nicolo to consummate a desire no one seems willing to accept or understand.
6) ‘Til Death:
Dimitri Spalto fought to be pack leader of the Malta werewolves. Now he must fight to keep his pack from falling apart and becoming prey to the prejudice that surrounds them. First he must deal with other breeds discriminating against Malta werewolves. Then Dimitri is forced to come face-to-face with the prejudice that lies within him.
Malta werewolves are special, and feared, because of the extrasensory gift many of them have…except for Dimitri. His grudge against the gift he could never master might prevent him from seeing how he really feels about beautiful Rosa Anthony. Acknowledging his hatred toward her den is simple. But realizing that the only way he can have her for his mate is to overcome that anger takes all the strength he possesses. And the clock is ticking. He can have Rosa until death, but only after bellying up to his nemesis…and saving his pack before it’s too late.
